On 27 November 2011 KIDS organised the KIDS Walking Dinner for the first time. A top quality culinary evening in the beautiful concert hall of Koningskinderen in Bussum. There was a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. The more than 150 guests enjoyed the delicious food, the wine and they enthusiastically put in bids for the auction pieces. The food was organised by the famous G6 restaurants (Aan de Poel, Lutte, Het Bosch, Eau de Vie, Visaandeschelde, Elkaar en Julius), the wines by Bacchantus and the music by Dennis van de Geest.

The Foundation thanks all the guests for their participation in the Walking Dinner. An equally big thank you goes to all the sponsors, who participated selflessly on the evening and offered items for auction. Without their help and input KIDS would not have been able to organise this evening. The proceeds of the Walking Dinner amounted to almost 50,000 Euros. The full amount will go to the shelters of KIDS.
